What are they?
Wood
Trees and word have a unique ability to store carbon. As trees grow, they absorb carbon dioxide. Wood are one of the most abundant and versatile natural materials. Wood is available in various colours and grain patterns. Wood has been in service since humans appeared on earth. In competition from other materials, wood maintains its traditional and serviceability through uses. Simply put, wood is an important fuel of the world.
Rattan
A plant from from Southeast Asia. It belongs to the palm family and grows like a tree. Rattan is lightweighted and is easy to move and handle. It could withstand humidity. It is one of the most versatile wood in the world, with close to 600 species in the family. Rattan is a natural and sustainable product.
Water hyacinth
Water hyacinth or "water lily" is considered to be one of the most unwanted aquatic plants in the world. It reproduces so quickly it can blanket a large portions of lakes. However, water hyacinth could last up to 5 years with proper care due to its tough fibre and it is extremely easy to care for them - their main "food" is the sun.
